Kaelor Logistics is recruiting self-employed owner drivers for a combined EVRi Light & Large and SME collections operation across East Anglia.
This role combines a Light & Large delivery route with a scheduled SME business collection run later in the day.
Pay:
£100 per completed SME collection runPlus £4.00 per successful Light & Large delivery or standard collection stop
A typical route is expected to contain around 30 Light & Large stops, giving typical earnings of approximately £220 per day, with additional earning potential where extra successful stops are completed.
The Work:
The Light & Large element consists of deliveries and standard collections throughout the route.
These stops do not operate to timed SLAs, allowing you to manage the route efficiently.
The SME collection element operates differently.
SME collections have strict client-defined collection windows and SLAs and must be completed within the required times.
After completing the SME collection run, collected freight must be returned to the depot.
Vehicle Requirements:
You must provide your own suitable LWB or XLWB van.
You will also need the appropriate insurance and documentation for self-employed courier work, including:
- Hire & Reward insurance
- Goods in Transit insurance
- Public Liability insurance
- Valid MOT where applicable
- Appropriate vehicle insurance and roadworthiness documentation
What We Need:
You must:
- Be self-employed
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Have a suitable LWB/XLWB van
- Be reliable and able to consistently meet strict SME collection windows
- Be physically capable of handling larger parcels and freight
- Provide a professional standard of customer service
- Have strong route-planning and time-management skills
Previous courier, multidrop or parcel delivery experience is preferred.
This is a self-employed owner-driver opportunity. You are responsible for your own vehicle, fuel, insurance, maintenance and operating costs.
