Job Summary
Due to an increased workload, we are seeking two skilled welders to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in welding, particularly with TIG and MIG welding techniques. This role involves both workshop and on-site fabrication and installation. As a welder fabricator, you will be required to meet precise specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate TIG welding equipment to weld various materials, including sheet metal & pipework.
- Assemble and fabricate metal components according to CAD drawings and specifications.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
- Perform inspections of welded joints to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
- Workshop, on-site Installation, modification, maintenance, and repair work
- Teamwork - working with other staff members to improve processes and resolve any issues that may arise during production.
- Conduct basic maths calculations as required for measurements and adjustments.
Qualifications
- NVQ or equivalent in TIG, MIG welding & fabrication.
