Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Shopfront Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing shopfronts and associated fixtures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities
- Measure and prepare shopfronts according to schematics and technical drawings
- Install glass panels, aluminium frames, and decorative features with precision
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised fabrication equipment to complete installations
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate installation schedules and workflows
- Perform minor repairs or adjustments as required during the installation process
- Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout each project
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all phases of installation
Skills
- Proven experience in construction-related roles such as carpentry, masonry, or fabrication
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment used in shopfront installation
- Knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, and installation plans
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics accurately
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients
- Physical fitness to handle lifting, bending, and working at heights safely
