The North Middlesex Hospital cardiology department offers a range of invasive and non invasive investigations. There is a cath lab that offers pacemaker implantation, ILRs and angiography service. There is physiologist led a cardiac device follow up service supported by our 3 EP/CRM consultants.
The post holder will be an invasive / devices accredited highly specialised cardiac physiologist, independently performing and reporting to BHRS standards at Advance Specialist level in Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM). Applicants must hold full accreditation with BHRS or equivalent and have relevant experience at a senior cardiac physiologist level.
Deliver physiologist led cardiac devices follow up clinics
Deliver Physiologist-led remote clinics
Implantation of cardiac devices- pacemakers, ILRs
Working autonomously in the cardiology cath-lab
Familiar with all non-invasive procedures with good ECG interpretation skills
Support junior staff in the department
Participate in the education programme

We also provide community services and have a dedicated 0-19 service for children and young people in Enfield so that they can get the best possible start in life.
Involved both in non-invasive and invasive procedures within the centre.
To provide training and advice for other staff and trainees within non-invasive cardiology to help and maintain an efficient, professional and patient cantered service
To ensure adequate monitoring of patients during CRM and angiography procedures.
Assist in the delivery of remote pacing and implantable loop recorder remote clinics.
To analyse and report investigations acting appropriately in the event of significant adverse findings.
To treat all patients with respect and understanding and ensure the comfort and satisfaction, as far as possible, of all patients attending or communicating with the Department.
To offer specialist advice and guidance to consultants leading the case in the field of CRM
To be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day care and quality assurance of any equipment used.
To have responsibility for providing letters/reports relating to CRM in a timely and appropriate way.
To keep up to date with advances in CRM and implement advances in service provision as and when appropriate.
