Job Overview
We are seeking a self-employed Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner to provide professional cleaning services to clients in various locations in London; Paddington, Hampstead, Chelsea, City of London and Mayfair.
This role offers flexibility and independence, allowing you to manage your own schedule while delivering high-quality cleaning solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer satisfaction, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate cleaning equipment efficiently.
Experience in carpet and upholstery cleaning is essential. Equipment + Products must be provided by the professional. A valid driving licence is required to travel between client sites.
Responsibilities
- Conduct professional cleaning of carpets and upholstery using specialised equipment and cleaning agents
- Assess the condition of items to determine the most suitable cleaning methods
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide advice on maintenance and care
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, maintaining attention to detail
- Manage appointments and travel between different locations efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including equipment and supplies
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns promptly and professionally
- You will be responsible for your own tax and National Insurance
- You will be responsible for having the relevant Insurances.
- Being with the NCCA/or Equivalent is preferred
Experience
- Previous experience in carpet or upholstery cleaning is mandatory.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to explain procedures clearly to clients
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your own schedule effectively
- Driving experience with a valid licence is essential for travelling between appointments
- Customer service experience is beneficial, demonstrating a friendly and professional approach when interacting with clients
