Job Description
Areas of responsibility:
- Work closely with Senior Account Managers throughout full event lifecycles
- Support the planning, coordination and delivery of multiple events simultaneously
- Assist with the onsite delivery and management of events, including guest registration, supplier coordination, venue liaison, event set-up, problem-solving and ensuring a seamless delegate experience
- Prepare proposals, presentations, budgets, event documentation and client communications
- Provide quality administrative support across all event projects, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at every stage
- Conduct venue and destination research, sourcing suitable options based on client requirements and budgets
- Liaise with hotels, venues, DMCs, production companies and other suppliers to obtain proposals, negotiate rates and confirm bookings
- Maintain accurate project plans, timelines, budgets and internal systems throughout each project
- Assist in identifying opportunities to enhance client events through additional services and creative ideas
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers and industry partners
- Update and maintain company databases, CRM systems and supplier information
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and all relevant legislation, company policies and health & safety requirements
- Support the wider team with business development activity, networking events and marketing initiatives where required
Objectives:
- Deliver support across multiple event projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, on time and within budget
- Develop the confidence and capability to independently manage a portfolio of event projects
- Provide first-class customer service to clients, delegates, suppliers and partners at every stage of the event journey
- Ensure all project administration, documentation and financial records are maintained accurately and efficiently
- Build strong relationships with clients and suppliers, becoming a trusted point of contact
- Support the continued growth and reputation of Parallel Blue through professionalism, creativity and attention to detail

Requirements:
- Minimum of two years' experience within a corporate events agency or similar events environment
- Degree in Event Management preferred or similar vocation
- Expert interpersonal skills
- Sound understanding of the corporate events industry and event planning processes
- Flexibility to travel throughout the UK, Europe and internationally when required to support event delivery
