Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities, including food preparation, serving, and customer service.
- Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and oversee team performance to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
- Assist in the training and development of team members, fostering a positive work environment.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to minimise waste and optimise resources.
- Ensure the restaurant adheres to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in supervising within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Experience in managing food production processes and kitchen operations.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Good communication skills to liaise with staff, suppliers, and customers professionally.
- Familiarity with hospitality management software is desirable.
