Job Summary
Wallacetown Gardens was opened in 2017 as a one-of-a-kind facility for adults aged 18-65 years with long-term and continuing mental health conditions and life limiting conditions. The service is about enablement and helping people achieve the best they can in line with their expectations. This is an opportunity to be part of a team which is involved in multi-disciplinary working whilst also retaining autonomy in decision-making .
Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital. Experience within a similar setting is also preferable. We work with a variety of clients with massively differing needs so you will have to be able to adapt to the work environment. The service benefits from a lifestyle manager to aid and assist staff to support and plan with our residents.
The company actively promotes training and there are opportunities to advance your career within the service. We are looking to recruit support workers to work nights - shift times are 8pm to 8am.
