We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Part-Time Tea Room / Café Assistant to join our team.
Please DO NOT apply if you have no café or restaurant experience. We are looking for someone who can work independently from day one.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of UK café or restaurant experience
- Confident, friendly and outgoing personality
- Comfortable greeting and engaging with passers-by outside the café to attract customers
- Experience preparing coffee, tea, soft drinks, beer, wine and other beverages
- Able to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (Chinese is an advantage)
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK
Main Duties:
- Greeting customers and providing friendly service
- Preparing hot and cold drinks, including coffee
- Serving food and beverages
- Operating the till and handling payments
- Keeping the tea room clean and well presented
- Actively welcoming and engaging with potential customers outside the café
- Helping create a warm and inviting atmosphere
Competitive pay based on experience. Performance bonus is available for the right candidate.
