Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Joiner to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. As a Joiner, you will play a vital role in setting out and manufacturing doors, stairs, windows and cabinets. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wooden frameworks, fixtures, and fittings with precision using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate construction and installation
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support project requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly after use
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and screwdrivers
- Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, sanders, and saws
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with equipment or structures
- Skilled in carpentry techniques for framing, cabinetry, or finishing work
- Ability to perform roofing tasks accurately and safely
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and manual labor over extended periods
