An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Maintenance Operative to join our growing team at Works Services.

We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and motivated individual who takes pride in delivering excellent standards of work. The successful candidate will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and positive approach to a varied workload.
Working across our Cleanworks and Saltworks divisions, you will report directly to the Operations Supervisor and play an important role in maintaining and improving client sites across Northern Ireland.
Responsibilities
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Window cleaning
- Power washing and external surface cleaning
- Grass cutting and grounds maintenance
- Weed control
- Litter picking and site upkeep
- General cleaning duties
- High-level cleaning works
- Seasonal gritting and winter maintenance services
- Supporting additional facilities maintenance tasks as required
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday work (typically one Saturday per month)
- Minimum 35 hours per week
- Applications from candidates seeking 30+ hours per week will also be considered
- Start date to be discussed at interview

Essential Requirements
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Aged 25 or over (insurance requirements for company vehicles)
- Flexible approach to working hours, including seasonal demands
Desirable Qualifications
- PA1 & PA6 weed spraying certificates (Not essential)
Location
This role is based from our Belfast Head Office (BT5), with work carried out across a variety of client sites throughout Northern Ireland.
