Moto Central is a busy motorcycle clothing and accessories retailer based in Wolvey, Leicestershire. We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistant to join our team on a permanent contract, subject to a six-month probation period.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working with people, has a genuine interest in motorcycles and is comfortable working in a busy retail environment.
Working days and hours
The position is for four fixed days per week:
Monday: 9am-5pm
Wednesday: 9am-5pm
Thursday: 9am-5pm
Saturday: 9am-5pm
Applicants must be available to work all four advertised days. Saturday working is an essential part of the role.
The position is primarily showroom-based, although occasional support may be required in other areas of the business.
The role
This is a customer-facing position focused on providing excellent service to motorcyclists of all experience levels.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and serving customers in the showroom
- Helping customers choose motorcycle helmets, clothing and accessories
- Advising customers on sizing, fit and basic product suitability
- Answering customer questions in person and over the telephone
- Operating the till and handling customer transactions
- Replenishing stock and maintaining showroom displays
- Keeping the showroom clean, organised and welcoming
- Supporting other members of the team when required

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Available to work every Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
- Willing to learn about the products we sell
- A team player who is happy to help wherever needed
Previous retail or customer service experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential. Full training will be provided.
Pay and benefits
- £8.00-£12.71 per hour, depending on age
- Pay will be at the applicable National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage rate
