CleanBurn is looking for an experienced self-employed builder to work with us on domestic stove and chimney installations, with potential for regular ongoing work.
We’re looking for an experienced tradesperson — not a labourer — who can confidently assess and lead the building side of fireplace projects.
Work will include:
- Opening/enlarging existing fireplaces and chimney breasts
- Assessing masonry, lintels and structural support
- Installing lintels and forming stove chambers
- Brick/block work, rendering and making good
- Advising on building requirements and costs before quotation
- Drilling walls for twin-wall chimney systems
- Fitting external chimney brackets and supports
- Assisting with twin-wall chimney installations and working safely at height
CleanBurn handles the stove/flue specification and compliance. You would bring the building expertise and work alongside us on installations.
Experience with fireplaces, chimneys, roofing or stove installations is highly desirable.
Must be self-employed, experienced, reliable, insured and have own tools/transport.
Rates negotiable depending on experience/job.
Please apply with a brief summary of your experience and the area you cover.
Pay: £150.00-£300.00 per day
Work Location: On the road
