Duties
- Supervise daily operations of the dental practice, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care
- Lead, motivate, and support staff including dental assistants, hygienists, receptionists, and administrative personnel
- Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, billing processes, insurance claims, and revenue tracking to optimize profitability
- Oversee human resources functions including hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution
- Implement policies and procedures that promote compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
- Coordinate appointment scheduling to maximize patient flow while maintaining a positive patient experience
- Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages professional development and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in a healthcare or dental setting with strong management skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle financial management tasks effectively within a clinical environment
- Experience in human resources practices such as hiring, training, and employee relations
- Knowledge of practice management software and dental office operations preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team and interact confidently with patients
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative processes
- Veterinary experience is a plus but not required; relevant healthcare management background is highly valued
