Shift Pattern
Week 1
- Monday – Thursday: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm
- Friday: 6:00 am – 11:30 am
Week 2
- Monday – Thursday: 1:50 pm – 9:50 pm
- Friday: 11:20 am – 4:50 pm
Salary: £28,255.50 – £30,513.00 per annum (inclusive of 5% shift allowance)
About the Role
Kelmore is looking for a motivated and reliable Shift Production Operator to join our manufacturing team.
Working as part of a busy production operation, you will manufacture and package high-quality powder and liquid products safely, efficiently and to specification. You'll receive training across multiple production areas, allowing you to develop a broad range of manufacturing skills within a growing business.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in producing quality products and thrives in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Shift Supervisor and colleagues to deliver the daily production plan safely, efficiently and on time.
- Manufacture powder and liquid products by following approved recipes, specifications and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare production equipment, raw materials and packaging for each production run.
- Operate automated and semi-automated batching, mixing, filling and packing equipment.
- Complete product changeovers and cleaning procedures to maintain quality standards.
- Carry out product labelling and packaging in accordance with production records.
- Complete production documentation accurately and on time.
- Assist with stock takes and transport raw material and finished product samples when required.
- Support production line start-up and shutdown activities.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation.
- Work flexibly across different production areas in line with business requirements.

- Following all Health & Safety, COSHH, environmental and quality procedures.
- Wearing the required PPE and working safely at all times.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient working environment.
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team culture.
- Identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality and productivity.
- Assisting with training and supporting colleagues where appropriate.
