About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Venue Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations and lead our team in delivering exceptional customer experiences. This is a leadership role suited to someone energetic, organised, and passionate about hospitality, entertainment, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations across all departments
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to maintain high service standards
- Ensure health & safety, licensing, and operational compliance
- Monitor performance, staffing levels, and customer satisfaction
- Handle bookings, events, and peak-time coordination
- Support marketing initiatives and promotions
- Manage stock control, cash handling, and reporting
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining high standards of service
Requirements
- Proven management experience in hospitality, leisure, or entertainment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities
- Flexible availability (evenings/weekends essential)
Desirable Skills
- Experience managing multi-activity venues or large teams
- Event coordination or entertainment venue background
- Knowledge of licensing and compliance regulations
