Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to recipes and standards
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations
- Prepare ingredients such as chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and setting up cooking stations
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure hygiene and proper handling of ingredients
- Help with serving dishes efficiently during busy service periods
- Restock supplies and ensure all kitchen equipment is functioning correctly
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
