Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Data Analyst to begin or develop a career in data.
You’ll gain hands-on experience working across the full data lifecycle, helping turn data into meaningful insights that support business decisions. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in data, problem-solving, and analytics who is eager to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Interpret data and analyse results using statistical techniques
- Produce clear reports to support decision-making
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights within complex datasets
Data Management
- Collect and organise data from a variety of sources
- Maintain databases and ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Clean and validate data to identify and resolve issues
Systems & Tools
- Support the development of data collection systems and reporting solutions
- Work with tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualisation platforms
- Assist with improving data processes and efficiency
Collaboration & Improvement
- Work with stakeholders to understand business and data needs
- Support prioritisation of data projects and requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimisation
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Good understanding of data concepts and structures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Good level of Maths
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
Desirable:
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Experience with a programming language (e.g. Python, R, Java, C#)
- Awareness of data visualisation tools such as Power BI
- Understanding of ETL processes or data pipelines
