We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high quality early years education and care, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children aged 0–5 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a warm, caring, and inclusive environment where children feel safe and valued
- Assist in planning and delivering age appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development, encouraging independence and confidence
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, sharing information with colleagues and parents/carers
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and safeguarding practices at all times
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive team environment
- Communicate effectively with parents/carers, building strong relationships and offering support when needed
- Contribute to the setting’s daily routines, including mealtimes, rest periods, and outdoor play
Qualifications & Skills
- Level 2 Certificate/Diploma in Childcare or Early Years Education (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Flexibility, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children

Working Hours & Salary
- Full time or part time hours available (depending on setting needs)
- Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
