Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Events Manager to oversee the planning and execution of our corporate events. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and experience in organising and hosting corporate events and/or executive dinners.
Our events are located across the UK and US, providing the opportunity to travel.
Providing a successful probationary period, this role will transition from a part-time role to a full-time role in early 2027.

Duties
- Coordinate all aspects of event planning, from initial concept through to execution, ensuring seamless delivery.
- Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored event solutions.
- Manage budgets, negotiate with vendors, and oversee procurement to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Supervise event staff, including setup, service, and breakdown teams, ensuring high standards of guest service.
- Upsell additional services or products to maximise revenue opportunities during events.
- Oversee venue arrangements, catering, entertainment, and technical requirements.
- Develop detailed timelines and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Monitor event progress and resolve any issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Proven experience in hospitality management, including restaurant or hotel experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in upselling services or products to enhance revenue streams.
- Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and coordinate multiple events simultaneously.
- Experience in fundraising or guest services is advantageous.
- Ability to manage staff efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality and guest care.
- Proficiency in organisational tools such as scheduling software or event management platforms is desirable.

£40,000 OTE (pro rata)
Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
