JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title : Quality Inspector
Location: Belfast
Responsible to : Quality Manager
Job Purpose :
The purpose of the Quality Inspector is to inspect and test products during manufacturing to make sure they meet company and customer requirements
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Final inspection of pharmaceutical products.
2. Responsible for monitoring on-going quality of product through the production process, carrying out random quality checks.
3. Operate EyeC Proofiler scanner to confirm the printed product matches specification.
4. Provide support to production operators in relation to product quality.
5. A member of internal auditing team, carrying out process audits, Health & Safety, housekeeping and glass/brittle plastic audits. (On the job training on auditing will be provided)
Assisting the Quality Manager in documentation for the Quality, Health & Safety systems.
7. Co-ordinate processing of customer returns and quarantined product.
8. Process control improvement – projects.
Person Specification – Quality Inspector
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA (demonstrate on application form)
1 Experience in Microsoft Word/Excel
2 Experience working as part of team
3 Practical knowledge of health & safety
4 Ability to use own initiative
DESIRABLE CRITERIA (demonstrate on application form)
1 Experience in Quality
SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE (tested at interview)
· Flexible approach to working hours
· Communication and interpersonal skills
· Good attention to detail.
