Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain an organised and clean bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking drink orders efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for billing purposes.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible serving of alcohol and compliance with licensing laws.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, demonstrating strong hospitality skills.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
