Summary
We are seeking a dedicated HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team in Westerham. This role is vital in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of equipment, supporting our company's mission to deliver exceptional service and value.
Monday - Friday 07:00am-17:00pm
Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Deliverying and collecting plant machinery.
- Ensure compliance with all road safety and transportation regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery/collection documentation. Logging any defects or missing items on tablets provided.
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips.
- Communicate effectively with hiredesk and customers.
- Support team efforts to uphold company standards of service
Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 1 driving license. (minimum 2 years experience)
- Familiarity with operating plant machine. Training will also be provided.
- Excellent driving record, with a safety first mind set.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving.
