We have an exciting opportunity available to join the team within our newly renovated nursery! We are passionate about providing healthy, nutritious, homemade food for our children to fuel their busy minds and growing bodies.
We are a small and friendly team looking to recruit an enthusiastic nursery cook to join us as soon as possible. The hours required are part time, 9.00am until 1.30pm, Monday - Friday.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a passionate cook that enjoys creating child friendly foods from our varied, 4 week rotating menu. We encourage and promote the input of our cook in our menu and like to work together with you in providing the most nutritious and delicious meals for our children. Home cooked meals, from scratch, are a must for us and we delight in a shared passion of this. Knowledge of preparing meals for children with allergy and dietary requirements is essential. Although our position is for kitchen staff a love for children is essential, in our home from home nursery setting. Our cook will be responsible the organisation, cleanliness and hygiene of our kitchen which includes washing up, cleaning duties and completing the Safer Food Better Business handbook daily.
The position is subject to satisfactory references and a fully enhanced DBS check.
