About the role
Judge Law, a Windsor-based law firm, is looking for a reliable, professional driver to work with us on a self-employed contractor basis. This is an ongoing engagement of at least 15 hours per week, with scope for more, offering flexibility to fit around your other work. A vehicle is provided.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Transporting an elderly family member to personal appointments, including hospital and medical visits, and providing courteous assistance in and out of the vehicle
- Driving the firm's partners to and from meetings, courts and appointments, on time and presentably
- Running errands on behalf of the firm (deliveries, collections, general tasks)
- Keeping the vehicle clean, fuelled and ready for use
What we're looking for:
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Aged 35 or over (an insurance requirement for our vehicle)
- Punctual, discreet and professional — you'll be trusted with confidential business and personal arrangements
- Caring, patient and physically able to assist an elderly passenger safely in and out of the vehicle
- Willingness to undergo a DBS (background) check
- Good knowledge of Windsor and the surrounding areas, and a flexible approach to hours
- Desirable: ability to speak Punjabi
The arrangement:
- Self-employed contractor — you invoice the firm monthly for hours worked
- Minimum of 15 hours per week, with flexibility on scheduling
- You are responsible for your own tax and National Insurance
- Vehicle provided by the firm
