The successful candidate will have experience managing a paediatric neurodevelopmental caseload and be confident working autonomously, whilst providing leadership and support within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
You will work across a variety of community settings, including clinics, family homes, mainstream schools and specialist educational environments, delivering high-quality, child-centred physiotherapy assessment, intervention and advice.

To manage a diverse caseload of children and young people (CYP) presenting with emerging developmental difficulties and complex physical needs across community settings, including clinics, homes and educational environments. To provide highly specialised physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, intervention, review and evaluation, ensuring care is evidence-based, outcome focused and delivered in accordance with agreed service pathways, professional standards and organisational policies.
To work in partnership with families and multidisciplinary colleagues to develop, implement and review individualised, developmentally appropriate intervention programmes that are integrated within wider care plans.
To take a leadership role within multidisciplinary and multi-agency teams, offering specialist consultation and advice to health, education and social care professionals. To coordinate Community Physiotherapy services within a designated locality, supporting the effective management of referrals, prioritisation, caseload allocation and discharge processes to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
To deputise for the Clinical Team Lead as required, providing clinical and operational leadership, supervision, appraisal, mentoring and support to junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants, students and colleagues. To contribute to workforce development through teaching, training and sharing specialist knowledge.
