Role Title: Internal Sales
Purpose of the Role: The Internal Sales role is responsible for supporting the growth and development of GIS Lift Turn Move’s Industrial and Entertainment sales markets while maintaining strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients. This is an office-based position focused on delivering excellent customer service and ensuring the efficient processing of sales activities.
Key responsibilities include preparing and issuing customer quotations, processing sales orders, and monitoring orders from receipt through to successful delivery. The role also involves providing administrative and sales support to the wider sales team, sharing industry knowledge and product expertise to assist colleagues and contribute to achieving departmental objectives.
Dimensions of your Role: Operates independently or as part of the team to deliver excellent sales support as specified in line with the company’s objectives and values.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Managing existing & new clients
· Quoting industrial & Entertainment solutions and products for all client types
· Follow up (Chase) quotations submitted to clients and update the information on the CRM system.
· Processing of orders received through the company online platforms.
· Liaising with the purchasing team to ensure lead time are met and customers always informed.
· Accurately maintain all records on the company database by fully utilizing all operational systems available ensuring accurate data is inputted.
· Work as part of the team to deliver sales targets.
· Liaise with customers to provide any additional resources they may require.
· Attending trade Shows and networking events relevant to the business.
· Assist employees with industry knowledge and expertise.
· Other Duties as required/directed by the senior staff
Key Relationships
· Reports to the Head of Business Operations
· Maintains relationships between all departments.
Essential Qualifications:
· Previous Office experience is required as organizational skill are key.
· Sage Line 50 Experience desirable, must be computer literate using PowerPoint, Excel, Word, CRM Systems
· Attention to detail.
· Ability to work to tight deadlines and keep records in order.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Demonstrate initiative, confidence, and have excellent time management.
· Proactive approach to situations, both self-directed and under supervision.
Additional Qualifications Desired:
· Previous experience of working within the Lifting Equipment industry/Engineering background is desired but not essential
· LEEA Qualifications (e.g., Foundation Course [FOU])
Essential /Job Specific Training Required:
· Any required training will be supported and provided by the business or an external provider
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
