Due to expansion, we are looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 Multidrop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing daily delivery routes safely, efficiently, and on time while providing excellent customer service at every delivery point.
This role involves driving a Class 2 refrigerated vehicle, carrying out multidrop deliveries, completing vehicle checks, handling goods safely, and ensuring all delivery paperwork and compliance requirements are completed accurately.
Key Responsibilities
· Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle in line with UK road traffic laws, company policies, and health and safety procedures.
· Complete multidrop delivery routes to customers, depots, or client sites within agreed timeframes.
· Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects, damage, or safety concerns promptly.
· Load, secure, transport, and unload goods safely, using appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment where required.
· Ensure all deliveries are accurate, accounted for, and completed to the required service standard.
· Maintain accurate delivery records, paperwork, driving logs, and digital tachograph compliance.
· Communicate professionally with customers, transport planners, warehouse teams, and management.
· Represent the company positively through punctuality, safe driving, smart presentation, and excellent customer service.
· Follow route instructions and respond appropriately to delays, access issues, or delivery changes.
· Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and fuelled as required.
Essential Requirements
· Valid UK Class 2 / Category C driving licence.
· Valid Driver CPC qualification card.
· Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
· Good understanding of drivers’ hours, working time regulations, and tachograph rules.
· Previous multidrop delivery experience is preferred.
· Strong customer service and communication skills.
· Reliable, punctual, flexible, and able to work independently.
· Good level of physical fitness due to manual handling requirements.
· Ability to complete paperwork accurately and follow delivery procedures.
No major driving endorsements. (DR, DG, DD, CD40, CD50 or CD60)
Desirable Skills and Experience
· Experience delivering to retail, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, or depot environments.
· Experience using tail lifts, pump trucks, sack barrows, cages, or other delivery equipment.
· Experience working to timed delivery windows.
· Basic understanding of vehicle safety, load security, and transport compliance.
Working Hours
Working pattern is Tuesday to Friday, with no weekend work. Start and finish times may vary depending on delivery routes, customer requirements, and operational needs. The role may include early starts and route changes where required.
Pay and Benefits
· Basic salary of £34,400 per annum, topped up with two yearly bonuses of £2,000 pro rata, giving a total yearly salary of £38,400.
