Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for hair health and beauty. This role involves engaging with customers, providing expert advice on our range of Curly hair products, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience. Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in Portuguese or any foreign language is a valuable asset. The position offers an opportunity to develop organisational skills within a dynamic retail environment.
Duties
- Assist customers in selecting hair supplies, hair colors, wigs, and makeup products, offering knowledgeable advice where needed
- Maintain attractive and well-organised merchandising displays to enhance product visibility and appeal
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system (shopify)
- Provide information on hair care, hair pieces, hair extensions and product features to support customer decisions
- Restock shelves and ensure the store remains tidy and inviting
- Support with inventory management, including stock checks and organising deliveries
- Preparing Online Orders and dispatching.
- Engage with customers in multiple languages (English preferred) to improve accessibility and service quality
- Contribute to promotional activities and seasonal displays like Halloween,Christmas to boost sales
Requirements
- Previous experience or a strong interest in making hair, know how for hair coloring , or related fields is desirable
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic /Portuguese/ Spanish, is advantageous
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse customer base effectively
- Strong merchandising skills to create appealing displays that attract customers
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
- Friendly, approachable demeanour with a genuine enthusiasm for curly hair products and customer service
- know how of Braiding would be advantageous for building authentic repo with customer relations

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
