We are looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer to join our growing product and design team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a design professional who is passionate about creating intuitive digital experiences, solving complex user challenges, and shaping products that deliver meaningful business outcomes.
As a Senior UX Designer, you will collaborate with product managers, researchers, engineers, and stakeholders to design user centred solutions across web and mobile platforms.
You will play a key role in defining design strategy, improving user journeys, and mentoring designers while maintaining exceptional design standards throughout the product development process.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end to end user experience design process from research through delivery.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, customer interviews, and competitive analysis.
- Develop user personas, customer journey maps, information architecture, and interaction models.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high fidelity designs using industry standard design tools.
- Partner with product managers and engineering teams to deliver intuitive and accessible digital experiences.
- Present design concepts, research findings, and recommendations to stakeholders with confidence.
- Contribute to the evolution and governance of the organisation's design system.
- Ensure products meet accessibility standards and responsive design requirements.
- Analyse user behaviour, product metrics, and customer feedback to inform design improvements.
- Mentor junior designers and promote UX best practices across the organisation.
- Work closely with cross functional teams to align user needs with business objectives.
- Stay informed about emerging UX methodologies, technologies, and design trends.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior UX Designer, Lead UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user centred design across web and mobile applications.
- Expert knowledge of Figma and modern UX design tools.
- Experience with user research, usability testing, prototyping, and interaction design.
- Strong understanding of information architecture, visual hierarchy, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Experience working within Agile product development environments.
- Familiarity with design systems and component based design.
- Ability to communicate design decisions effectively to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
- Experience mentoring designers or leading design initiatives is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in User Experience Design, Human Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Product Design, or a related discipline.
- Experience with analytics platforms and data informed design decisions.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or front end development principles is beneficial.
- Experience designing enterprise software, SaaS platforms, fintech, healthcare, or ecommerce products is an advantage.

Pay: £72,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
