Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Plumbing and Heating Reactive Engineer to join our maintenance team. In this vital role, you will respond swiftly to plumbing and heating issues across various properties, ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely. Your expertise will help maintain high standards of comfort, safety, and operational excellence. Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to plumbing and heating emergencies, diagnosing issues accurately and implementing effective repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing and heating systems to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to repair or replace faulty components.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for compliance and future reference.
- Assist with the assembly of new plumbing or heating installations as needed for upgrades or new projects.
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport tools, parts, or equipment between sites when required.
Skills
- Proficiency in plumbing techniques including pipe fitting, leak repairs, and fixture replacements.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heating systems such as boilers, radiators, pumps, and thermostats.
- Experience with welding and the use of hand tools and power tools for various repair tasks.
- Basic math skills for measuring, calculating flow rates, or adjusting system settings accurately.
- Carpentry skills useful for installing or modifying structural elements supporting plumbing or heating systems.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during maintenance activities.
- Valid commercial driving license.
- Must be gas safe

Pay: £38,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
