You’ll take on an established schedule of 20+ students. We provide the students, teaching space, scheduling, marketing and admin support, so you can focus on teaching.
About the Role
- Teach engaging 1:1 piano lessons to children and adults
- Levels Grade 1–8 ABRSM (preferred), Trinity, MTB, RSL or LCME
- 30 and 60-minute lessons
- Back-to-back lessons in one location - no travelling between students
- Term-time only - 38 teaching weeks
- Potential for additional teaching hours

Working Hours
- Monday–Friday: mid-afternoon to evenings
- Saturdays: 9:00am–3:00pm
What We’re Looking For
- Music degree or conservatoire training advantageous
- Grade 8 Piano or above
- At least 2 years' piano teaching experience
- Experience teaching children and/or young people
- Good knowledge of ABRSM requirements and exam preparation
- Valid DBS check preferred (support provided if required)
- Reliable, patient, organised and professional
- Ability to adapt lessons to different ages, levels and learning styles
Your Role
You’ll provide a well-rounded musical education covering technique, theory, sight-reading, musicianship and performance, while preparing students for ABRSM exams, recitals and individual musical goals.
You’ll monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback and create a positive environment where students enjoy learning, make real progress and grow in confidence.
