We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- ensure efficient workflow and high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Oversee all aspects of food production, including cooking, plating, and garnishing dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
- Manage food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations and hygiene standards
- Develop new menu items in collaboration with the management team, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste and optimise resources
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment centred on continuous improvement
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen setting, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Extensive knowledge of food production, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for culinary arts with a creative approach to menu development
- Previous experience in food preparation, restaurant service, and hospitality operations is highly desirable
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety at all times
