Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Welder/Fitter/Engineer to join our team and contribute to our fabrication and assembly projects. Responsibilities
- Perform welding and welding techniques to join metal components accurately and efficiently.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to guide fabrication and assembly processes.
- Conduct inspections of welds and assembled parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Assist in the mechanical assembly of structures or machinery, ensuring proper fitment and alignment.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and optimize workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven work experience with welding, sheet metal fabrication, and general welding techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and basic math for measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with assembly procedures for mechanical structures or machinery.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to welding, fabrication, and working with heavy materials.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Prior experience working with welding or similar regional techniques is a plus.

Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
