Optic Media is looking to expand its trusted network of freelance Property Photographers, Videographers and Domestic Energy Assessors across London and the South East. We're looking for reliable, professional individuals who take pride in producing high-quality work and delivering an excellent client experience. You'll represent the Optic Media brand on location, capturing premium content for estate agents, developers and architects. All editing, colour grading, floor plan production and post-production are completed by our in-house team, allowing you to focus on shooting. Responsibilities
- Photograph residential and commercial properties to a consistently high standard.
- Capture smooth, well-composed property walkthrough videos.
- Conduct property appointments professionally and courteously.
- Produce accurate sketch measurements for floor plans.
- Upload RAW photographs, video footage and floor plan sketches following each appointment.
- Manage your own schedule and arrive punctually for appointments.
- Represent Optic Media professionally at all times.
Desirable Skills
- Experience producing RICS-compliant floor plan sketches.
- Domestic Energy Assessor qualification (DEA).
- Experience creating 360° virtual tours.
- Previous experience working with estate agents or property professionals.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience photographing residential property.
- Strong portfolio of property photography and videography.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Friendly, professional communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Equipment RequiredApplicants should own:
- Full-frame DSLR or mirrorless camera capable of capturing high-quality stills and 4K video
- Ultra-wide angle lens suitable for interiors
- Tripod
- Gimbal or camera stabiliser
- 360° camera (Insta360, Ricoh Theta or similar)
- Laser measuring device
- Drone and relevant UK permissions (desirable but not essential)

You simply attend the appointment, capture the required content and upload the RAW files and floor plan sketch. We'll take care of everything else. Typical AppointmentA standard appointment may include:
- Interior and exterior photography
- Property walkthrough video from simple to more advanced
- Floor plan measurements and sketch
- Optional drone photography/video (where required)
- Optional EPC assessment (if qualified)
Typical appointment time: 60-120minutes, depending on the property.
Pay: £24,420.00-£43,830.27 per year
