We are looking for an experienced Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong general joinery experience, with particular experience in the installation, fitting and adjustment of doors.
We work on a wide range of door and joinery projects, so we are looking for someone who is confident working independently, takes pride in their workmanship and can consistently deliver a high standard of work
Key Responsibilities
- Installing, fitting and adjusting internal and external doors
- Hanging doors and fitting door frames, architraves and ironmongery
- Carrying out door repairs, maintenance and adjustments
- Working with a range of timber doors and door products
- Installing and working on fire doors where required
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with relevant requirements
- Working safely and maintaining a clean and professional working environment
- Liaising professionally with customers, clients and other trades
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Joiner / Carpenter
- Strong experience in door installation and fitting
- Good general joinery skills
- Ability to work accurately and independently
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, professional and able to work to deadlines
- Full UK driving licence
Fire Door Experience – Preferred
- Previous experience installing fire doors
- A recognised fire door qualification or certification is preferred
- Experience working with fire-rated doors, frames and associated ironmongery
- Knowledge of fire-door installation requirements and regulations
- Experience with fire-door inspection, maintenance or remedial works
Pay: From £17.50 per hour
