Job Overview
We’re on the lookout for Bar Staff and Bar Supervisors to join us at Coupe in Bollington. We’re considering both part-time and full-time positions, so there’s flexibility for the right person. We’re looking for somebody who can confidently take charge of shifts in our absence as a supervisor, as well as general bar staff who can work alongside a supervisor. You don’t necessarily need previous bar experience as we’re happy to train the right person, but you must have the confidence and willingness to provide excellent customer service. We’re looking for someone with excellent attention to detail and the enthusiasm to deliver the same high standard of customer care in our absence, ensuring every guest enjoys a warm and welcoming experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety regulations
- Bar Supervisors - Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance on service procedures and safety protocols
- Manage stock levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth service operations
- Serve customers politely and efficiently whilst promoting a friendly atmosphere
- Handle card/cash transactions accurately and operate POS systems effectively
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with general hospitality duties
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar environment is preferred
- Supervising or team management experience is desirable but not essential for entry-level candidates
- Familiarity with hospitality operations such as serving, barista work or bar experience (preferred)
- For bar supervisors - Strong leadership qualities combined with excellent customer service skills are essential
