What You'll Be Doing
As Deputy Manager, you will:
- Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Lead, motivate and support the Early Years team
- Ensure high standards of care, learning, safeguarding and EYFS practice
- Support staff development through coaching and mentoring
- Take responsibility for the nursery in the Manager's absence and support ongoing quality improvement
What We're Looking For
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare
- Previous experience as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, Deputy Manager or similar senior role
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and childcare regulations
- Confident leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire a team
- A passionate, positive and ambitious Early Years professional looking for career progression
