Van Driver / Labourer (CSCS Required)

Hours: 48 hours per week (Typical hours 7:00 am – 3:00 pm)
About the Role
We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Van Driver / Labourer to join our growing team in Manchester.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for completing waste collection jobs across Greater Manchester while also assisting on demolition and strip-out projects when required.
A company van will be provided for work purposes, and you'll take the vehicle home each day, allowing you to travel directly to your first job.
Although your usual working hours will be 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, some jobs may require earlier starts or later finishes. All additional hours are paid as overtime.
What You'll Be Doing
- Driving a company van to customer sites throughout Manchester and surrounding areas.
- Collecting and loading a wide range of waste, including: General household waste, Furniture, Mattresses, House clearance items, Construction and demolition waste.
- Completing house clearances and waste collection jobs.
- Assisting demolition and strip-out teams when required.
- Transporting waste from demolition sites to licensed recycling and disposal facilities.
- Completing daily vehicle checks and keeping your van clean and well maintained.
What We're Looking For: Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years
- A valid CSCS Card
- Willingness to work as both a driver and labourer
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and lifting
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Preferred
- Previous van or delivery driving experience (preferred but not essential)
- A clean driving licence is preferred
- Applicants with more than 6 penalty points will not be considered
