Duties
- Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support the implementation of individualized care plans tailored to each person's needs and preferences
- Help with everyday activities including meal preparation, medication reminders, and light household tasks in home or care home settings
- Maintain clear and respectful communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Use IT systems to update records, document care activities, and track progress accurately
- Drive between different locations for home care visits when required, ensuring timely and reliable support
- Promote a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any concerns promptly
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is highly desirable
- Valid driving license and ability to drive between different locations confidently
- Good understanding of care plans and how to follow them effectively
- Proficiency in English for clear communication with clients and team members
- Basic IT skills for documentation and record keeping purposes
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients, families, and colleagues
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
