The Supply Room is recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join one of our client primary schools in Brent, London.
This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm, and is offered on a fixed-term contract with excellent opportunities to secure a permanent position within a local primary school for the right candidate. The pay rate is £99.71 per day.
Successful applicants must be available to attend school meetings and interviews before Friday 17 July. The scheduled start date is Tuesday 01 September 2026.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils aged 4–11 in their learning and development, working closely with teachers to deliver engaging classroom activities and provide additional support where needed.
You will help create a positive, nurturing environment that encourages pupils to build confidence, develop key skills and achieve their full potential both academically and socially.
A key part of the role will involve supporting children of all abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
You may work with individual pupils or small groups, adapting your approach to meet varying needs and helping to remove barriers to learning.
Your support will play an important role in promoting inclusion, engagement and positive outcomes for every child.
We are looking for candidates who hold a Bachelor's degree and have previous experience, training, qualifications or knowledge within Childcare, Education, or Health & Social Care. You will be punctual, reliable, available on a full-time basis, and have a genuine desire to build a long-term career within the education sector.
This position is ideal for graduates with experience as support workers, care workers, tutors, sports coaches, psychology graduates, or anyone passionate about supporting children and young people, particularly those with additional needs.
