Hours: Permanent – 36 Hours per Week
About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team at Milton Ernest Hall.
This is a full-time role offering 36 hours per week. Shift patterns will involve working on an alternate weekend schedule (offering a predictable routine and great work-life balance), with exact weekday shift days to be agreed upon.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents in a warm and supportive environment.
- Assisting residents with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility.
- Supporting residents to maintain their independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
- Updating digital care records and communicating effectively with the wider care and nursing team.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in elderly or dementia care is desirable, but a caring attitude and strong work ethic are most important.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care is a bonus (or willingness to work towards it).
- Excellent communication skills and a team-player mindset.
- Reliability and flexibility to work alternate weekends.
