Pay Rates: £23.82 per hour (exc wtd)
Hours: 30 hours per week - Monday Friday - 3 to 4 days

Worcestershire Acute NHS Trust are currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Clinical Audiologist to join their team for a Temporary Long Term Placement opportunity. What you can add:
· Provide comprehensive audiological services within daily consultant-led ENT clinics, delivering routine and diagnostic hearing assessments including pure tone audiometry, tympanometry and speech testing.
· Support ENT consultants throughout full-day clinics by ensuring timely, accurate test results and assisting with clinical interpretation to inform patient management.
· Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS) standards and Trust policies, adhering to infection prevention and equipment calibration protocols, and providing clear patient counselling regarding hearing and ear health.
· Undertake basic hearing aid repairs and maintenance, including tubing changes, battery checks and minor troubleshooting, ensuring patients receive efficient and effective support within the clinic setting.
· Support with Direct access from GP’s, new patient fittings and patient self-referrals (reassessments).
· To use Specialist knowledge to inform clinical judgement and decision making case management and to adapt practice to individual circumstance.
· To assess capacity, gain valid informed consent and have the ability to work within a legal framework with patients who lack capacity to consent to treatment.
What you’ll need:
· Level 6 BSc (Hons) Audiology /BTEC MPPM & BAAT Part 1 & 2 (or equivalent)
· CAC/ BAAT Parts 1& 2/HTS or equivalent practical qualifications in general and specialist areas.
· RCCP/AHCS/HCPC (Clinical Scientist Audiology) registered
· Good IT skills.
· Clear verbal communication skills.
· Ability to perform the appropriate range of specialist tests, report on the findings and formulate individual treatment programmes
In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of
· Relevant Qualifications
· Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
