DB Heating is an established family-run plumbing and heating business serving customers since 1982. We’re looking for an experienced, organised administrator to join our office team and help keep our busy day-to-day operations running smoothly.
You’ll handle customer enquiries, book appointments, help organise engineers’ diaries and keep our job records up to date. We need someone who is comfortable managing several tasks at once, communicates clearly and takes ownership of seeing things through.
The role will include:
- Answering telephone calls and emails, helping customers and recording enquiries accurately.
- Booking servicing, repairs and installation appointments, coordinating access with customers, landlords, tenants and letting agents.
- Scheduling work for our engineers and adjusting bookings as priorities change.
- Maintaining customer details, job notes and outstanding actions within Commusoft, our job management system.
- Following up enquiries, appointments and outstanding information to keep work moving.
- Providing general administrative support to the team and Managing Director.
You should have previous experience in a busy administration or customer service role, a confident telephone manner and good attention to detail. You’ll need to be comfortable using computer systems, prioritising your workload and working independently once familiar with our processes.
Experience scheduling engineers, contractors or maintenance appointments would be particularly useful. A background in a plumbing and heating company, another service trade, lettings or property management could be a good fit.
Familiarity with Commusoft, ServiceM8 or similar CRM and job management software would be an advantage, although experience with other systems is welcome.
You’ll work alongside our existing office team, with accounting and billing handled separately. This is a practical administration role where being dependable, organised and helpful will make a real difference.
To apply, please send your CV with a brief explanation of your relevant experience and when you would be available to start.
