Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at Ganarew House Care Home. Based in our welcoming care home, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents' daily needs and enriching their lives through attentive care and engaging activities.
Hours
- Day Shifts
- 36-48 hours per week
- Alternating weekends
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Follow individualized care plans to meet each resident's specific needs.
- Support residents in participating in recreational activities and social events.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a caring nature.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and procedures.
- Valid driving license is advantageous but not essential.
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
- Fluency in English.
- Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude towards elderly care.

Pay: £13.00-£13.30 per hour
