Role overview
NKD Group is seeking an organised, proactive and adaptable Operations & Project Support
Coordinator. This varied role will provide administrative and operational support across projects,
sales, compliance and general office activities.
The successful candidate will help ensure that enquiries, orders, documentation, travel and project
requirements are managed accurately and on time. The position would suit someone who is
comfortable managing multiple priorities, communicating with customers and suppliers, and
improving internal systems and processes.
Key responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Office and sales administration
- Carrying out general office and sales administration.
- Logging, updating and maintaining customer enquiries.
- Preparing, finalising and emailing reports to customers.
- Maintaining accurate electronic and paper filing systems.
- Ordering supplies for staff.
- Booking hotels, trains and other business travel.
- Booking transport for equipment, parts and deliveries.
- Communicating professionally with customers, staff and suppliers.
Project and procurement support
- Placing copper, breaker, equipment, parts and other project-related orders.
- Chasing suppliers regarding equipment, parts, pricing and delivery dates.
- Preparing project pricing from paper-based information.
- Producing and maintaining Cubic parts lists.
- Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of design packs.
- Ensuring delivered items are recorded and marked off against the relevant project timeline.
- Filing delivery notes and maintaining accurate purchasing and delivery records.
- Maintaining the site and project calendar.
- Highlighting potential delays, shortages or outstanding actions to the appropriate team
members.
Compliance and documentation
- Supporting the ongoing maintenance of the company’s ISO management systems.• Preparing and maintaining Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), subject to
appropriate technical review and approval.
- Creating and updating toolbox talks.
- Booking equipment calibration and PAT testing.
- Monitoring relevant renewal, testing and calibration dates.
- Ensuring compliance and project documents are complete, current and correctly filed.
Systems and process development
- Supporting the development of internal company applications and digital tools.
- Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and workflows.
- Helping maintain accurate, accessible and efficient company records and systems.
Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
