Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Nights Duty Manager to oversee our hotel operations during the overnight shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional guest service abilities. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the smooth running of the hotel during night hours. The successful applicant will play a crucial part in upholding our standards of excellence and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and efficiently.
- Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to hotel policies.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and special requests with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Monitor security procedures to guarantee the safety of guests, staff, and property throughout the night.
- Handle administrative tasks such as reporting incidents, maintaining logs, and preparing shift handover reports.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Provide leadership and support to staff to foster a positive working environment.
- Liaise with other departments to coordinate services and resolve operational issues efficiently.
- To ensure all event rooms are fully set up to the highest standard for all events.
Qualifications
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on delivering memorable experiences.
- Previous hotel experience is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts on a regular basis; experience in hospitality leadership roles is desirable but not essential. - Pay 13.21 per hour + Tronc
