Job Overview
We are seeking skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as Wall Tilers and Construction Specialists. This role involves installing wall tiles with precision and craftsmanship, contributing to high-quality construction projects. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the durability and aesthetic appeal of tiled surfaces, working within a dynamic team environment. Experience in construction and familiarity with various tools and techniques are essential for this position.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, levelling, and applying suitable adhesives or mortar.
- Measure and cut tiles accurately using hand tools, power tools, and schematics to ensure proper fit and alignment.
- Install wall tiles in accordance with project specifications, maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and instructions to execute tiling plans effectively.
- Assist with other construction tasks such as carpentry or painting as required to support project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines whilst upholding quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in wall tiling or related construction roles.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as saws, drills, and mixers.
- Knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans.
- Basic carpentry skills and experience with construction painting are advantageous.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and commitment to safety standards.
- Relevant certifications or training in construction trades are preferred but not essential.
