In this role, you will be part of a team and responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows and doors across the residential and commercial spectrum .Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets quality expectations, and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while honing your craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment. A good comunicatore and team member is essential . CSCS card will be required to demonstrate your health and safety awareness and allow access to new build sites. Responsibilities
- Measure openings accurately and prepare surfaces for window and door installation using hand tools and power tools.
- Install a variety of window and door types, ensuring proper alignment, sealing, and secure fastening according to schematics and technical drawings.
- Conduct repairs or replacements of existing installations with precision and care to maintain structural integrity.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate project timelines and ensure efficient workflow on-site.
- remove and install windows and doors, trim clean and seal to very high standards.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris responsibly, and inspecting completed work for quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with a focus on window and door fitting or similar trades.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and other construction equipment.
- Knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, or blueprints for accurate installation planning.
- Familiarity with roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, welding, masonry, plastering, fabrication, carpentry, or construction painting is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions and adapt to various site conditions efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills to address unforeseen issues during installation.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials and working at heights in all weather conditions.
