Vehicle Damage Inspector
Location: Chipping Warden, Northamptonshire
Shift: Monday-Friday, Day Shifts (40 hours per week)
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Contract: Full-Time, Temp to Perm
We are currently recruiting for Vehicle Damage Inspectors to join a busy automotive operation in Chipping Warden. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and an interest in vehicles to join a leading automotive business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting vehicles and accurately identifying and recording any damage or defects. Full in-house training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for candidates looking to develop a career within the automotive industry.
The Role:
As a Vehicle Damage Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting vehicles and identifying cosmetic and physical damage
- Accurately recording vehicle condition and any defects found
- Completing inspection reports and associated documentation
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure vehicles are processed efficiently
- Maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Following all company processes and health and safety procedures
- Supporting the wider operation as required
The Person:
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
- Good attention to detail and ability to identify vehicle damage
- Previous automotive experience is desirable but not essential
- Comfortable using handheld devices and computer systems
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
